The Activities of what we know today as strong>Marcantonini began in 1967, in the Umbria region of Italy at “Passaggio di Bettona”, where Mr. Lamberto Marcantonini founded Marcantonini Lamberto & C. S.r.l., with the aim of creating customized high-performance concrete batching plants and concrete delivery systems. Marcantonini also had the early vision for automated industrial solutions, and transfer of technology from various more automated industries to the areas of concrete production.
Over the past 40 years Marcantonini has evolved into a worldwide leader in fully automated concrete systems. In particular high-performance concrete production has become a specialty. The world’s most advanced concrete plants count many Marcantonini installations amongst them. The philosophy of Marcantonini is to offer leading-edge technology applied to the science of concrete materials whether on a large civil onsite plant system, or a fully automated concrete products factory-or any concrete plant type in-between.
At Marcantonini the talent of personnel is encouraged for enhancement through advanced training in design, engineering, software development, electronics, advanced mechanical systems and modular installation.
In 2003 company Marcantoni Lamberto & C S.r.l. joined with Marcandrea S.r.l. creating Marcantonini S.r.l..
In 2005 Marcantonini opened its “Center of Research and Development” working together with the Universities of Perugia and Rome, attaining a lifelong goal for Marcantonini of involving the highest levels of academia in the development of concrete equipment technology—bridging the gap between materials theory and practice.
Mr. Andrea Marcantonini, Eng., son of the founder, is at the helm of Marcantonini Automazioni Srl the automation division of MCT and involved in various fields from concrete systems, industrial automation, video controls and alarm systems. At Marcantonini all software is developed internally; all electronics and electrical systems are built in-house, and all engineering and design is rebounded off of a group of international experts in these fields located throughout Italy, Europe, Asia and North America.
The “custom shop” feel of Marcantonini is evident on any visit to the design and engineering offices, electronics shop, fabrication and assembly shops, or the Center for Research and Development. This is a stark difference between Marcantonini and its worldwide competitors. Your plant project is not a Marcantonini project as it moves through our departments; it is “Your Project” moving through our various creative departments and trade shops. One year before infact Andrea Marcantonini was titled CEO and partner of Global Security System S.r.l. who performs project activities, security and safety system installations turning his target to the support of Private and Public reception.
Thanks to his business vocation and his technological background, Marcantoni S.r.l., has always dedicated a particular focus to the production problems of his customers and the concrete distribution in any unit of precast and pre stressed facilities.
The main feature of Marcantonini's plants is the full automation that allows to solve also specific issues thanks to the flexibility, during the project phase and during the realization, permitting to schedule and build “in house” the mechanical , and the electrical and electronics units.
The significant investment of the sales organization allowed the Marcantonini Group to consolidate his position into the national and international market; more than 60 countries in 5 Continents where the Company is particularly known and appreciated where a high level of technology suggests the use of machinaries technologically advanced.
